New Service at Schneider in the Community in Holon: Enuresis Clinic

“Schneider in the Community” – which brings the hospital’s specialists to residential areas - recently opened a special clinic in its Holon branch for the prevention of night bedwetting in children. Individual and effective treatment is provided for children by doctors from Schneider Children’s based on a unique model which includes a detailed questionnaire, physical examination to rule out any medical disorder and tailor-made individual therapy for the child and family.

Night enuresis is thought to be one of the most common developmental problems in children. Most children spontaneously become dry by the age of 4 years, but others continue to wet their beds after this age. The Enuresis Clinic at Schneider Children’s treats these cases through parental guidance together with different methods, behavioral and therapeutic, according to the problem and need, and enjoys high rates of success.

Opening the Enuresis Clinic service within the framework of “Schneider in the Community” in Holon will allow easier accessibility for children from the Gush Dan Region. The service is outside the basic basket of health services and is available to all HMO members.

Schneider in the Community in Holon belongs to the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District of Clalit Health Services to which the hospital belongs, and brings quality medical care of the hospital into the residential community. Additional services are provided within the framework of Schneider in the Community such as the Clinics for Ear, Nose and Throat, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Neurology, Nephrology, Dermatology, Pulmonology and psychological medicine services to children and adolescents.
