Functional-developmental examinations are conducted within the framework of the Institute for Child Development for children from the ages of one to 9 years.

• Diagnosis
• Guidance
• Treatment of special cases

In many cases following diagnosis, a referral is given for treatment in the community.

Similarly, the Institute treats the following conditions:

• Eating and feeding disorders in the very young
• Treatment for burns
• Fitting suitable devices
• Fitting of braces
