Premature and Newborn Follow-Up Clinic

Activities:

The clinic conducts follow-up along with neurodevelopmental evaluation of premature infants and newborns. Similarly, the Clinic also checks full-term infants suffering from medical disorders requiring follow-up within the framework of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Clinic. Parents are given advice on the need for additional therapy such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, clinical communication or neurologist as well as advice on feeding and vaccinations.

A social worker works in collaboration with the Clinic to help parents cope with the various problems arising during the course of treatment of premature infants.
