Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

• Imaging of the Skull
• Imaging of the Spinal Column
• Imaging of the Heart and Major Blood Vessels
• Imaging of the Abdomen and Pelvis
• Imaging of the Muscle Frame

Opening Hours:
- For children up to the age of 6 years requiring anesthesia - Sunday and Thursday mornings
  - For children over the age of 6 years - Monday and Wednesday afternoons

Referrals:
  - Referral by a community specialist (plus Form 17) or during hospitalization
  - Preparations prior to anesthesia must be coordinated with the anesthesiologist and nurse in MRI 
Urgent Cases: Direct referral by the attending physician and according to the opinion of the senior physician in MRI

Computerized Tomography (CT)

CT of the entire body with or without colon and/or IV contrast media - according to need

Opening Hours:
  - For older children - Monday afternoons
  - For younger children requiring sedation - Monday and Wednesday mornings

Referrals: Referral by a specialist from Schneider Children's or from the District (plus Form 17). Preparation for sedation according to instructions from the pediatric nurse
Urgent Cases: Urgent referrals from the ER or from hospital departments are conducted throughout all hours of the day in coordination with the pediatric radiologist.

Ultra-Sonography (US - Ultrasound)

• Sonography of the skull in newborns and premature infants
• Examinations of the abdomen, pelvis and internal organs
• Skeletal Surveys
• Guidance for Biopsies and Surgery
• Doppler + Doppler during surgery
  

Opening Hours:
All days of the week, between the hours of 08:00-15:00
Urgent Cases: At any hour of need
Referrals: Referral by a department/clinic at Schneider Children's.
Special examinations for the community-at-large - according to special coordination

Fluoroscopy

• Fluoroscopy of the Respiratory System
• Fluoroscopy of the Urinal and Digestive tracts
• Fluoroscopy with or without contrast media following surgery, insertions etc.

Conventional Imaging

All x-rays including linear tomography and x-rays of the respiratory tract, with immediate reading and results

7 days a week, 24 hours a day, according to need
